Recommended Browser

Use Google Chrome for firmware flashing

For the most reliable update flow, open the Sim2RC Web UI in Google Chrome before starting the firmware update. Other browsers may work, but Chrome is the recommended option.

Wheel compatibility

Firmware 2.0: Expanded wheel support and Shifter V2

Latest

Firmware 2.0 expands wheel compatibility and adds more flexible shifter and third-channel configuration.

Added

  • Logitech G923 support for PlayStation and Xbox versions.
  • Thrustmaster T300 family support in PS3 mode.

Changed

  • New Shifter V2 source options: Off, H-shifter, paddle shifters, and Sequential (3/4).
  • New CH3 modes: Neutral, Handbrake (2 position), and 3 position switch.
  • T300 profiles use paddle shifting; H-shifter-based options remain unavailable.

Legacy

The first stable Sim2RC firmware release, kept available for rollback and Logitech G29 compatibility testing.

Included

  • Logitech G29 support in PC mode.
  • USB wheel input converted to standard RC-ready PPM output.
  • Browser-based channel monitoring and wheel configuration at 10.0.0.1.

Compatibility

  • Recommended only when you specifically need the original G29 firmware line.
  • For newer wheels and the current feature set, use firmware 2.0.

How To Flash

Update Instructions

  1. Download the required .bin firmware file from the release above.
  2. Power on Sim2RC and connect your phone or laptop to the device Wi-Fi.
  3. Open http://10.0.0.1 in Google Chrome.
  4. Open the Firmware Update section in the Sim2RC Web UI.
  5. Select the downloaded .bin file and start the update.
  6. Do not disconnect power, close the browser, or leave the page until flashing finishes.
  7. Wait for the device to reboot, then reconnect and verify the update completed successfully.
